| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The site was noticed 1978 during village to village survey by Bhopal circle. On the basis of the sculptural remains, the history of the area started from historical to medieaval period. The famous site Sanchi is situated near other side of the Betwa. |

There are quite number of broken sculptures all lying on the platform. Sculpture of Balram Sunga period and Parmar sculptures are important. Apart from that medieaval pillar in a tank and sati pillar are also important. Most of the sculptures are lying on the platform in the centre of the village under worship. The sculptures are made of yellow and red sandstone. |
