It is a two chambered rekha and pidha temple built in sandstone. The stones are connected with iron ciamsp. The temple stands on a high plinth. The sanctum is in pancharatha rekha style and the porch is in pidha style. The door jambs have navagraha, Laxmi and two Jaivite dvarapalas. The side deities are Ganesha, Kartikeya and parvati of earlier period. The presiding deitiy is a Siva lingum. A Ganesha image and a bull of single stone are kept in the porch. The sculptures of erotic, secular and cult image are found on the gap of each pilasters of the temple. The gateway is temple type. Two images of singhavahini are kept on the northern and shothern walls of the gateway. Its outer walls bear a few sculptures of erotic and cult deities. Height is about 50 feet. A big stone boundary walls encloses the temple complex. |
