This charter is in Sanskrit language and in the southern characters of about the fifth cent. A.D. The inscription with two dateds in an unspecified era and issued form Valkha, refers to the grant of a site for houses named Rohyavahaka, in the Dasilakapalli rashtra, on teh opposte bank of the Narmada, to a number of brahmanas, made in the year 38 .The record is sated to have been put on teh copper plate in the year 77 on the orders of the king. |
