The high quality building is laid out on a sprawling site with a traditionally built boundary wall surrounding it. The entrance deedh or gateway leads to the property on the far end of the lawn. The building is prominently horizontal in plan with two floors. The front facade is fairly plane with no extensions etc, to highlight it. The house is defined by a high plinth and a centrally located porch comprising pointed arched openings created by series of robust brick columns. The rooms are arranged linearly along the length of the building. The first floor is highlighted by a series of segmental arched windows running the length of the building face. |

The building is mainly constructed in brick which is plastered with lime both externally as well as internally. Timber is used for construction of floor joists, ceiling and window door frames. The windows in the ground floor are pointed arched whereas the ones on the first floor are segmental arched in shape. The windows are partially glazed and paneled. Quoins are used at the corner of the building. |
