The building is simple in form and has a single-pitched roof which indicates that it has a rectangular plan form. The entrance is through a centrally located arched porch and leads to a large hall on the ground floor. Each side of the central porch is emphasized by a decorative dub traditional wooden bay window . The eastern portion of the building has been recently extended. |

The principal building materials are stone in the ground floor and brick in the first floor. The ground floor is lime plastered externally but the first floor has only been colour-washed over exposed bricks. Other significant materials that have been used for construction is timber for floor and ceiling joists. The dubs on the first floor are also built in timber. The roof is in CGI and appears incomplete. While some windows are still original and paneled -- few others on the front face have been replaced by modern glazed windows. |
