The entrance to the house is from a grand deedh which has a double cusp-arched opening and a heavy wooden door. The house is enclosed within a high wall. The entrance from the gateway leads to the private courtyard enclosed within a high wall that has series of recessed decorative arches on the outside. The house is single storey and built around the courtyard. The house also has a private well. |

The main component of the building material is lakhori brick plastered both internally as well externally. Lime plaster is also used to decorate the interiors with mouldings etc. The ceiling has timber joists and is left exposed on the underside. The roof is flat covered with brick bats and finished with a thick layer of lime mortar. The windows and doors are square wooden paneled but have moulded and arched brick surrounds. |
