The entrance to the house is from a deedh and leads to a paved courtyard. The courtyard is interestingly built in lakhori bricks as well. The house is single storey and the rooms are arranged around this courtyard. There is a large garden behind the property which is used by the owners for cattle and growing vegetables. The house is un-plastered externally but the walls are lime-plastered inside. |

The main component of the building material is lakhori brick which is left exposed externally and lime plastered internally. Lime plaster is also used to decorate the interiors with mouldings. The ceiling has timber joists and is left exposed on the underside. The roof is flat covered with brick bats and finished with a thick layer of lime mortar. The windows and doors are square wooden paneled but have moulded and arched brick surrounds. |
