| History / इतिहास | |
| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | According to locals the site goes back to the time of the Pandavs who used this spot as a resting place in the last year of their exile. While this could not be confirmed, there are material evidences within the site to support the historicity of the site and the temple complex. The site is archaeologically a very rich and unexplored resource. |

| Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण |
The small stone temple stands within a shallow water tank and has almost no plinth. The garbagriha or santum sanatorium is the only chamber of the temple. The plan is based on a square with recessing corners. The shikhara is not very high and is pyramidal in shape with a copper finial surmounting it. The water tank around the temple is connected through a narrow channel to the main baoli away from the temple which empties into the nearby Naaz naala through a stream. The side walls of the temple have square shelf-like features which may have been used to hold lamps. |

| Building/Structure material and other material used प्रयोग में लाई गई इमारती / संरचनागत सामग्री और अन्य घटक |
Perhaps the only building material used for the construction of the temple is stone. The whole temple is neatly built in stone ashlars. Minimal decoration is applied to the temple exterior, and comprises bands of slightly molded stonework around the plinth and around the middle of the shikhara. |
