| History / इतिहास | |
| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | According to locals the site goes back to the time of the Pandavs who used this spot as a resting place in the last year of their exile. While this could not be confirmed, there are material evidences within the site to support the historicity of the site and the temple complex. The site is archaeologically a rich and unexplored resource. |

| Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण |
The site is interesting for its location and its remoteness from the main town. To reach here, one has to cross River Naaz on foot after passing through dense vegetation. It is almost completely hidden under the canopy of large peepal and other trees. There is an ancient paved path leading to the complex which has an avenue of date palms. The Shiv Temple sits within a square water tank connected to a narrow channel which empties into a large baoli. The main features of this historic site therefore are the temple, the tank within which it sits, the baoli, and the date palm avenue leading to the complex. |
