| Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण |
The house is a traditional courtyard type with rooms arranged round the square courtyard which served as a private space. The range of the house facing the road also has a centrally located decorated gateway which is set within curved recessed arches made by moulded bricks. The rooms are tall and large with exposed timber ceilings. The building has been exceptionally ornamented using moudled brickwork and corbelled bands. The fenestration details are also highly decorative. There is a side staircase which goes to the terrace floor of this essentially single storey building, although there is a half first floor along one length of the courtyard house. |
