As is commonly found in this area, the entrance to the house is from a large gateway deodi which is of highly decorative quality. This gateway is set in the middle of the courtyard plan of the house and leads to the front court around which the main rooms are arranged. The building has been exceptionally ornamented using moudled brickwork and corbelled bands. The fenestrations are also highly decorative. There is a side staircase which goes to the terrace floor of this single storey building. The house has soaring timber ceilings. |

The house or haveli is primarily constructed in brick which is also used for various decorative and floral moudlings around the house. The ceiling joists are constructed in timber joists. Wood is also used for heavy ornamentation on doors and windows. All the window and doors have projecting arched surrounds flanked by decorative pilasters. The house is plastered externally and internally with lime and coloured in a vibrant yellow. |
