The entrance to the house is from a grand deedh or deodi which has a decorative-arched opening and a heavily ornamented wooden door. The two-door entrance is set in a recessed arch, leading on to a square forecourt around which rooms are arranged. The house is single storey with a corbelled brick band running around the building at ceiling height on the outside. The house has very high ceilings and all of them are constructed in exposed timber joists. |

The house or haveli is primarily constructed in brick which is also used for various decorative moudlings around the house. The ceiling joists are constructed in timber joists. Wood is also used for various ornamentations on doors and windows. All the window and doors have segmental arched profiles. |
