The shrine itself is built within an open courtyard which has a number of trees and has a significant amount of land and a natural spring around it. |

| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The mausoleum of Baba Hyder Reshi popularly known as Harda Reshi or Reshi Mol, is visited by both Muslims and Hindus alike. The saint is buried alongwith twenty of his disciples in the mausoleum. The saint was born on 29th Rajab, 909 Hijri 17-1-1504 A.D. in village Dandar of Anantnag Tehsil in the house of one Sheikh Abdulla, a local blacksmith. Baba Hyder Rehsi is said to have possessed spiritual powers and he also used to tend his agricultural land and cattle. He spent his entire life in complete celibacy. |

The building is square in plan with a wooden arcaded verandah surrounding the inner chamber built in masonry where the saint s and cenotaph is located along with some others. The verandah has been modified to a great extent recently. The building sits on a masonry plinth built in stone ashlars. The roof of the builing is typical pyramidal consisiting of three tiers surmounted by a tall spire. In the vicinity of the shrine is also a mosque which is a recent construction, and a spring which is used by the devotees for ablution purposes. |

Most of the structure is constructed in wood and brick masonry. It stands on a stone ashlar plinth with a wooden arcaded verandah surrounding the main chamber which is built of brick masonry. A series of decorative wooden brackets are located at the eaves level. The roof of the shrine consist of a three tiered pyramidal roof surmounted by an octagonal pavilion brangh with a spire at top. |
