The Art Survey Branch of the dipartment of chaeology and Museums, Government of Rajasthan, under the supervision of V.S. Vastava,, notice moral pIntings in the cenotaphs at Bhaupura . it contains paintings, in the erior as welll as on the exterior, which stylistically belong to the period of Jahangir AD 1605 side the religiouns thems. the depiction of contemporary life also finds a place theriein, the Paintings the cenotaph at Bhaupura seem to be contemporaneous with those found in the cenotaph of manshingh ans some illustratins of the walls of the palase ascribed to him at Amber, paintings in the cenotaph a Ambe rwere executed in vs 1720 AD 1663 during the reign Bhausingh. |
