| Topographical Description / स्थलाकृतिक विवरण | The garden of Sher bagh is located on the western end of the Annatnag spring precinct and is fed by water coming from the spring. The bagh comprises of a large plot of land with a number of large chinar trees. |

| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The exact date of the Sher bagh garden could not be ascertained, but it seems that it was constructed during the Dogra rule. A double storied brick building serving as sarai was located in the garden even during the late 19th century, which was recently demolished. The nimazgah is said to have been at the site from earliest time, while the present stone platform demarcating the area has been built in the 2oth century. |

The nimazgah at Sher bagh comprises a raised platform sufa of dressed devrii stone. A masonry niche on the western side of the nimazgah serves as the mehrab. A large chinar tree is located on the eastern side of the sufa. |
