Topographical Description / स्थलाकृतिक विवरण The property is the last of the historic houses on the main Kadipora road. The property is semi-detached and benefits from considerable isolated position. The area is also popular for the presence of a natural spring Gaj Nag. The neighbourhood is fairly plain and devoid of much plantation.

निर्मित धरोहर / स्थल से सम्बंधित स्थानीय/ परम्परागत विवरण		 The Mohalla (or locality) was traditionally commercially active with most houses carrying out their businesses from the shops in the ground floor, while living on the upper residential quarters of the building. Therefore, this street stretch mostly consists of residential-commercial mixed use properties. The tall buildings, each abutting the other creates a wall-like profile for the Kadipora street. The street is also popular for the presence of two springs (Nag) here; one of them known as Gaj Nag. The area is also popular for the presence of a shrine by name of Hazrat Syed Simnani Sahib.

इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण 		The property faces the main road of the Kadipora locality. The building is three-storey high with the ground floor being occupied by two spacious shops. The first floor has four rooms and the second floor has a large hall and an extended dub at one extreme end of the building. The building is replete with pinjrakari works in its fenestrations.

प्रयोग में लाई गई इमारती / संरचनागत सामग्री और अन्य घटक		 The main materials used for the construction of the load-bearing building are exposed bricks laid in mud-mortar, and timber for structural and decorative needs of the building. There are exceptional decorative details offered in the form of pinjrakari or latticework which is used for the ornamentation of windows. There are at least five different latticework details to be found in the building. The wooden sills of all the windows are highly carved. Each floor has a carved wooden frieze band that conceals the floor joists behind it.
