The Mohalla (or locality) was traditionally commercially active with most houses carrying out their businesses from the shops in the ground floor, while living on the upper residential quarters of the building. Therefore, this street stretch mostly consists of residential-commercial mixed use properties. The tall buildings, each abutting the other creates a wall-like profile for the Kadipora street. The street is also popular for the presence of a two springs (Nag) here; one of the known as Gaj Nag. |

The building is three-storey high with the ground floor occupied by shop and the upper floors serving as residential part. The rectangular building has one room on each floor. The entry to the house is from the rear. The property is surmounted by a double-pitched roof with a central roof ridge. |

The building is essentially constructed in brick masonry which is exposed on the outside. The windows on the second floor are inserted within slightly projecting square brick surrounds. The set of three windows have arched profiles. The windows on the second floor are square in shape. The windows start at floor level with the bottom consisting of a wooden panel dill-paet . Another decorative feature of interest is the continuous band of wooden fascia that conceals the wooden structural floor joists. The building is surmounted by a double-pitched roof. |
