The four-storey building, in a way, forms a part of the traditionally common perimeter block type housing. The ground floor is a spacious with most of it being occupied by a commercial shop. The entrance to the residential quarters of the building is from the rear and each floor supposedly consists of three large rooms. There is an additional room in the ground floor apart from the shop. The third floor has a considerably large hall used for large family gatherings. |

The building is essentially a brick construction which is laid in mud mortar. The external walls have been left exposed while the walls on the inside have been plastered with mud bore . Wooden joists and boards make up the floor structure of the house with exposed underside making up the ceilings of all the rooms. The ground floor has mud flooring sathrun and the upper floors have wooden flooring. The building remains devoid of any external ornamentation. |
