| Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण |
The four-storey building is fairly noticeable in the area particularly on account of its size and being the longest of the buildings on this stretch. The presently abandoned building has the entrance located in the middle which leads to a corridor having one room each on its either side. While the same plan largely repeats on the first and second floor, most of the third floor is occupied by a large hall. The layout seems to be almost square in plan. |

The ground floor is constructed in large ashlars of stone, whereas the upper three floors are constructed in load bearing brick masonry walls. Therefore, the structural system of the building comprises load bearing brick walls supported on wooden floor joists whose exposed underside forms the ceiling of rooms. The building has a modest appearance on the outside, with the brickwork exposed. The walls on the inside are plastered in traditional mud plaster zavil bore . The flooring is wooden in all floors, except for the ground floor where is in mud sathrun . |
