| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The Logripora Temple complex, which now consists of a number of ancillary buildings, is part of the ancient temple complex dedicated to goddess Ragnya who holds great significance for the Kashmiri Pandit community. The village Logripora also has Sapt Rishi springs which are considered sacred by the local Pandit community. |

The temple complex is said to have its origins to the times of Satisar and is held with great reverence by the local Pandit community. The area is said to have been the seat of goddess Ragnya. A few kilometers west of the village, is the shrine of Hazrat Zain Shah at Aishmuqam which is equally significant for the local populace. |

The building which was used as a halting place by visiting pilgrims is a two storey building, mostly constructed in sun-dried bricks. The centrally located entrance doorway gives way to a small lobby flanked by two rooms. The first floor consists of similar number of rooms and a projecting wooden gallery on the main front fa ade. A wooden staircase at the side of the building leads to the first floor. The building is surmounted by a double-pitched roof. |

The building being primarily an adobe structure is constructed in sun-dried mud bricks laid in mud mortar. The shallow plinth most of which has been covered by earth and debris now is constructed in random rubble masonry. Wood is used for the front gallery or dub and also for constructing the truss and the staircase. Plain rectangular windows are used in the ground and the first floor. |
