The temple complex is said to have its origins to the times of Satisar and is held with great reverence by the local Pandit community. The area is said to have been the seat of goddess Ragnya. A few kilometers west of the village, is the shrine of Hazrat Zain Shah at Aishmuqam which is equally significant for the local populace. |

The Hawan Kund is a modest single-storey adobe building, which consists of a single hall where ceremonies took place. The hall has a shallow pit where hawan was performed. The building is in a dilapidated condition with much of the building material being is a severely deteriorated condition. A single entrance door located at the corner of the building leads on to the hawan chamber. |

The building being primarily an adobe structure is constructed in sun-dried mud bricks laid in mud mortar. The entrance door to the building has carved wooden architrave. The door panels have, however, come off and are lying unattended at the site. |
