| Description of Building/ Structure/Site
इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण |
The present temple is a relatively recent construction and seems to have been rebuilt in the mid or later part of the 20th century. It is a single storey structure with a garba-griha consisting of a large monolithic shiv-lingum in the centre. The outer chamber or the circumambulator is in the form of an open verandah with a wooden railing all along the perimeter. A low-height pyramidal roof, with a copper kalash or finial, surmounts the temple roof which is covered with CGI sheets. The temple is the only building on the mound ahead of which the area becomes densely forested. |
