The stratigraphic sequence observed in the Luni and its tributaries was that of a white clay at the bottom, Succeeded by a cemented sandy gravel whch in turn, was covered by a sandy silt. Though most of the tools were collected form the dry river-beds, their horizon was no doubt the cemented sandy gravel, which was not exposed at many place. The implaments form the Lundi basin comprised scrapers, points, flakes and cores, ascribable to Series II. |
