COPPER-PLATE INSCRIPTIONS CHAUNDIA - Of the two characters , one , in local dialect and Nagari characters , belongs to the reign of the Rathod ruler Vijaya-simgha . Dated Vikrama 1825 A.D. 1768 and issued from Takhatagadha in Jodhapura. , it records the grant made by Maharaja Kamvara Phatesimgha of the Chamvamdiya village in Ajmer to Gusami Ramapuri The other charter, in local dialect and in late Nagari characters seems to record that Ta Thakura Pramapujientrusted the right to worship in the temple of the God Varaha to Gusami Harisighasna Bharathi . It also refers to the king Prathiraja Prathiraja I who is stated to have arranged for the worship in the temple of Varaha in Vikrama 1211 A.D. 1155 |
