A very important , but unfortunately badly - damaged, record from Kaman in Bharatpur District , which had been noticed by A. Cunningham , who assigned it to Iltutmish, appears , on examination , to be dated A.H.600 A.D. 1204 . The letters of the text containing the name of the regning king, who appears to be none others that Muhammad bin Sam, and the object of the costruction are peeled off the name of the governor , Tughril Sultani, By whom evidently Bahau d -Din Tughril is meant , is quite legiable . It seems to record the construction of a well , a tank and a mosque . the name of the builder , also a great Amir , is lost. |
