Information from Madhav N. Katti, Director Epigraphy , assisted by M.D. Sampath, M. Jayarama Sharma. T.s. Ravishankar, N.N. Swamy, C.A. Padmanabha Sastri, D.M. Nagarjuna, S.Swaminathan, Jaiprakash, K.Karuppaiah inscriptions of which important ones are noticed here. SANSKRIT INSCRIPTION, JALORE , DISTRICT JALORE- This inscription , engraved on a pillar in the topkhana is in the Sanskrit language and Nagari characters of about the 10th century AD. It records the constructions of two stambhalatas in the temple of Parsvanatha by Sri Kadudacharya along with Meghakumara for the merit of Bhatta- Dharmma - Bhadanacharya. |
