This spacious Agraharam house has a Mangalore-tiled roof supported on wooden pillars at the edges, a series of five arches between brick pillars are seen in the inner tinnai. The doorframe of the main entrance is beautifully ornamented. The Madras terrace roof of the is of very recent origin. The rest of the house is vault-roofed. The koodam is adorned with cylindrical pillars between round arches. A unique feature is that the walls are plastered with clay. |
