The rooms of the present house were mainly used for cooking and storage purposes by Bava Sami and his associates. |

The tinnai in the front has a thatched roof supported at the edges by slender bamboo pillars. The house possesses the reliand koodam. Except the tinnai, the entire house has a vault rooof. Series of arched pillars adorn the koodam. |
