The structure displays all the traditional features which have not been disturbed till date. An inscription on the wall says that the building was declared open by S. Devagnanam, Deputy Inspector of Local Boards, Trichy on 8th March 1944. The tile-roof of the tinnai stands on slender wooden pillars which are square in shape. The brick walls are fully plastered. All the rooms are tile-roofed but recently a new room with the Madras terrace type ceiling was added. |
