The Iron Age and Historic habitation mound are found on the eastern side of the village. It yielded black and red ware black ware, russet coated ware dull red ware and black ware. The mound soil is gray in colour and 2 m height form the surface level. The stone circle and cairn circle entombing cist, urns are found on the western side of the habitation mound. The burial site is covering an area of more than 50 heaters. More than 500 burials are still now well preserved. The stone circles are having 5 to 24m. Few burials are measure 7.20, 12,12.30, 14, 18.80 in meters. One huge stone circle Biggest is south India is found in the northern part of the burial site is measure 24 m. |
