The burial complex is found on the northern side of the village and on the left bank of the river Bhavani. The stone circle with simple cist and transepted cist, are found in this village. There are nearly 35 acres of burial complex of which about 10 acres are totally destroyed due to cultivation. Remaining 25 acres are found in good condition. The local people had exposed two transepted cist burial. The disturbed cist yielded black and red ware, red ware and russet coated ware. The transepted cist dug by Vellalar College of Erode were yielded red ware, black ware, black and red ware, Bowls, jars and plates are some utility of the pots. Two types of the burials are observed based on sporadic dis. The first type is a simple cist and another one is a transepted cist. One transepted cist measures - 1.80X 2.04X0.80 m. Either round or trapeze shaped porthole is noticed on its eastern orthostat of the cist. The round porthole had a diameter of 32 cm and trapeze shaped porthole had breath and height of 40 cm.
