An Urn burial site lies adjacent to the village in a cultivated field locally called somasaikadu.One of the disturbed urns found at this site is made of ill-fired coarse red ware. The urn is palced in a pit 30 cm below the surface. This is kept in a slanting position mouth facing north. The thickness of the body is two to five cm. The urn has wide mouth, heavy rolled rim, bulbous body with truncated stem base. |
