Topographical Description / स्थलाकृतिक विवरण | The site in gullied alluvium between the Narmada river. It was about 200 m upstream of the village. The area to the east of the site is gullied alluvium while to the west of the site there is an open field. Flood waters of Narmada enter the gullies and cover the field during the hightest floods. |

Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | The site was excavated by Pre-history branch, ASI Nagpur. On the basis of the excavated remains, the site belongs to stone age to chalcolithic period. |

1. During the excavation, following materials have been found. 1. Chalcolithic rubble platfrom and pottery. 2. Upper palaeolithic artefacts. 3. Historical pottery. For prepartion of microliths, semi-precious stones were used. |
