1. Three trenches were excavated and observed five following periods. Period - I - Chalcolithic remains like black- and -red ware, mircoliths, beads and other related antiquities. Period - II Mauryan - Mother goddess in ivory, terracotta, beads and other antiquities. Period - III- Iron objects, pottery etc. Period IV - Stone beads, terracotta, pottery. Period V- Pottery, a peculiear earthen pot, locally known as Rajan, sherds of Mediaeval ware along with terracotta beads, miniature pots, lamp, Mughal coins. For prepartion of microliths semi-precious stones were used. |
