1. Ancient tank near the site. 2. Ruined temple and one of the decorative architectural member of the site is now kept in the Indore museum of State Archaeology. For construction, used only local sand stone. As per the local tradition, this site was founded by Chandra bhil. According to local residents in the old time, a quite number of Chandan trees were there so it is called Chandalwasa. About 5 kms east of this site, there was Chandangiri maha vihar now called Dharmrajeshwar . |
