On the basis of the remains found, the history starts from Mediaeval period to modern period. During the period of the Akbar, the village was known as Sander and at that time, there was a palace of Gagrod sarkar. During the period of Jahangir he stayed in this village with Noorjahan 1617 A.D . It was a very big great mandi of grain during Mughal and Maratha period.

1. Jain temple- It was built during Paramara period and was reconstructed in the later period. On one of the ceilings of Jain temple, there is a beautiful scene of battle between Ram and Ravan. 2. Tamboli temple - Originally it was Surya temple but reconstructed in the later period. 3. Char-bhuja temple - Probabaly it was built before Parmara period, but not fully clear. In this temple there are beautiful sculptures of female deities, Vishnu, and Kartikeya. 4. Some time back during the excavation of foundation of a house one image of Ganesha of four feet height was found. On the basis of character it was built in circa 8th century A.D. 5. Remains of a fortress. 6. A mosque of Mughal period. 7. Cemetry of British period. 8. Old tank. For the construction of the old fort and other remains used only local sand stone.
