| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | In the old time, there was a habitational area known as Jorkheri and it was converted now as Ramnagar. During 7th -8th century A.D. it was under the tribal rulers Bheel upto Kota to Rampura, Kanjarda. It was bussiness centre of Banjaras during Mediaeval period. It was further developed in Parmar period because some temple remains are found there. |

1. As per the description in the published referance, there were found ostrich egg cells. 2. An image of Hanuman of Parmar period. 3. Remains of ancient Ramgarh fort towards the west of modern Ramgarh. For the construction of temple fort sculpture only local sand stone was used. |
