The area comes under Vindhyan range. The land is undulated and yellowish greyish soil.

The history of the site starts from old stoneage to Mediaeval period. This area was ruled long the representative of Rastrakuta and Parmara dynasty. The remains of different periods were noticed by the local historian Mr. Ramesh Pancholi.

इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण
1. Fossils - back side of the village in the agricultural field of Ramesh Pancholi a large number of fossils are scattered probably of crocodile or tortoise. 2. Stone age tools - Around the village, stoneage tools of early palaeolithic period are found. These are handaxe, cleavers and other tools made on flakes. 3. Karaji-ka-Otla - At the entrance of the village, there is a platfrom above it Pratihara and Paramara sculptures are lying under worship. Important sculptures are Vishnu seated in Padmasana, female deity, dancing apsara, and architectural fragments. 4. Trivikram -ka-Chabutara - This platfrom is situated near Panchayat office. There are many sculptures under worship like Trivikram, Nandi and other broken sculptures. 5. Shitla- mata-ka-mandir - This mordern temple is situated in the centre of the village. There are many broken sculptures lying under worship. These are eight armed Durga, Narsingh, Dwarpal, Ganesha, Agni, Parvati, Apsaras, Saraswati, Dikpal, panel of Krishnaleela etc. 6. Old step wells - There are two step-wells are in ruined condition built in 14th -15th century A.D. The remains are made of local sandstone. As per the tradition, the site was developed by the local resident Lotha.
