1. Painted rock shelters - Most of the rock shelters are painted with red colour. These belong to mesolithic period. 2. Around the rock shelters quite a number of microliths are scattered. 3. In modern temple of Takhaji Takshkeshwar temple, one big image of Naga in human form has been installed for worship. On the basis of the style, the image belongs to Parmar period. 4. During the clearance of the area, some temple remains were exposed with sculptures of Uma-Maheshwara, Naga and others. 1.For preparation of microliths, only semiprecious stones were used. 2. The images of deity are made of local sand stone. The name of Takhaji was derived from Takshak naga and he was related to this place. It is considered an important place of Naga worship in this area.
