A big mound is situated in the centre of the Besar and Bhagwanpura. The important sculpture of the site - 1. Yaksha image. 2. Vishnu image. 3. Ganesh image. 4. Ramains of Ancient well. There are other many sculpture lying at one place. Some pieces of pillar, pillar capital and a Nandi image are also lying there, probably belongs to Sunga period. 2nd century B.C Most of the sculptures are lying below the big baniyan tree. Some sculptures are worshiped by the villager. The sculptures are made of yellow and red sandstone. |
