The Balampur Ghati is full of early stone age tools. The site is spread about 2 Sq. Kms. From the cut section, a large number of stone age tools were found. Most of the tools were found on the slope of the hill. There are many natural mounds. These tools are made of good quality of fine grind, sandstone of Vindhyan range. |
