The mound is spread in an area of approximate 1500x1500 meter. Some part of it is occupied by the present village settlement, which has dense population. Maximum portion of the mound is used for agricultural purpose. Remains of a fortification wall made of Lakhauri bricks are seen. The site contains potsherds red ware and black ware bust of terracotta male figurine. It is also noteworthy here many stone pieces of pillars, doorjambs and sculpture are littered on the mound. The site was excavated jointly by Sri K.N. Dixit of Indian Archaeological Society and Prof. G.G. Fillipi of department of Indology and Far Eastern Studies of Ca Fascari University, venice, in 1999-2000.
