Like the historic town of Srinagar, Baramulla is yet another significant town located on the banks of River Jhelum. The principal occupation of the people for many generations has been that of fruit business and therefore the area around the town is seen dotted with many sprawling apple orchards. A number of significant religious places for both Hindus and Muslims are seen in and around the town. |

The symmetrical building is based on 9 taqs which gives it a substantial frontage. The entrance is located on off-centric and leads to a staircase lobby. The building comprises four floors. All the four floors have four rooms each. The fourth floor of the building is incorporated within the roof truss and is constructed in wood. The building also has a dub projecting from the second floor. A wooden bridge from the second floor of the building connects the house to an immediate house. |

The materials used in the construction of this building include burned bricks, mud and lime plaster, wooden door window frames and panels. The fa ade of the building has rectangular windows .The windows in the first floor are contained within moulded arched brick surrounds. |
