Like the historic town of Srinagar, Baramulla is yet another significant town located on the banks of River Jhelum. The principal occupation of the people for many generations has been that of fruit business and therefore the area around the town is seen dotted with many, sprawling apple orchards. A number of significant religious places for both Hindus and Muslims are seen in and around the town. |

This building is a four storied taq designed structure with two rooms in the ground floor and four small rooms on each of the three floors rooms arranged on either side of the centrally located corridor .The entrance to the building is from a narrow alley on the side, which leads to the rear side of the building. The building exhibits deodar wood, double paneled windows. The centrally placed windows display some pinjrakari work. |

The principal materials involved in the construction of the building are stone, maharaji bricks, deodar wood window frames and beams. The structure is built up in lime, mud mortar. The building also exhibits some symmetrical spaced wooden brackets in the third floor. |
