The site spread over an area of 800X400 meter. There is a habitation and orchard on the mound at present. There are three temples first one has idols of Ram, Sita and Laxman second temple comprising idols of Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman and third one is a Shiva temple. The temples are made of Lakhauri bricks. Adjacent to this temple there is a rectangular pond which has four turrets on each of its corners. The turrets are made of Lakhauri bricks. The river Manwar or Manorama originated from this pond. The site yields potsherds of red ware in medium to coarse fabric. The approximate height of the mound is 3-4 meter from surrounding surface. The river Manwar Manorama originated at this place. |
