It is a three chambered rekha and pidha deule. The sanctum is of pancharatha rekha style and nata mandira and bhogmondapaare of pidha type. The doorjambs have images of Lakshmi and two saivite dvarapalas and the lintel above it contains Navagraha figures. The presiding deity is a Siva lingam. The side deities are the image of Ganesha, kartikeya and Parvati. Its exterior walls of the bada portion of sanctum contain few erotic sculptures. A boundary wall has been provided to the temple. It was constructed by the royal family of mahure. The height of the temple is about 45 feet. |
