He was the disciple and the spiritual successor of Moinuddin Chishti as head of the Chishti order, and the person to whom the Qutb Minar, Delhi is dedicated. |

Now the grave has predominantly fluted columns, foliated arches and beautiful eaves. Over the grave there stands a pavilion which is supported by twelve fluted columns. A bulbous dome rises above the grave and now ornamented with glass. Marble balustrade around the grave is visible. Decorative features include mainly marble screens and fluted columns. |
