| Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | This is one of the five temples dedicated to Yogmaya, who was sister of Lord Krishna and said to be of very ancient time. It was reconstructed by Hemu and then additions were done during Aurangzeb time. It was rebuilt in 1827 CE again. |

The original ancient building of the temple has not survived. The facade of the structure has a multi cusped arched entrance supported on circular columns. The cornice above the gateway is supported on multiple brackets. The sanctum sanctorum has a Shikhara, which is adorned by an inverted lotus, Kalasha and the finial. This gateway leads to the main temple complex. The interior facade of the temple has floral pattern embossed on it. The sanctum houses the idol of Mahamaya, made of black stone and adorned with sacred clothings and ornaments. |
