Chini-Ka-Burj is a two-storeyed mosque situated on the western wall of the Baoli of Nizamuddin complex. It displays the typical features of Lodi architecture. The facade has pointed arch openings, parapet is adorned with Kangoora patterns ,which have remains of tile work. The bulbous dome rests upon the ornate octagonal drum. The historic building is made up of random rubble masonry and dressed masonry and also brick masonry and decorated with coloured tiles on the lime plastered walls. |
