It lies in area between the flood plain of river Yamuna and Delhi Ridge. Delhi Ridge is a Northern extension of ancient Aravalli Range.

Not much significant information is available on the history of the tomb besides, it is a Lodi tomb of unusual architectural features. Originally been constructed as tomb later being used by the locals as dwelling place.

The significant domed building is square in plan and it measures approx. 11.3 sq. m. It is constructed of rubble masonry. Originally, each of its four facades has there projection and has recessed arch openings flanked by arched panels; those on the north and south are now blocked off by adjoining buildings. The arched entrances containing doorways with brackets on architraves, a typical characteristic of Lodi period tombs. The facade is broken down by arched recessed niches in such a way with the help of pilasters and a string course that giving the appearance of two-storeyed structure. The huge hemispherical dome springs from a 16-sided drum which in turn is supported by methods of squinches on the interior and is topped by a lotus cresting from which the finial has disappeared. Further, around the dome midway, there is portraying exquisite architectural features of battlements motif incised in plaster and also on the roof parapets. At its south-east angle is a winding staircase leading to the roof. The building contains no grave.

The wall of the building is made of random rubble masonry and pierced doorway is of local stone. The flooring of the building is done by using stone and domed roof is of rubble masonry coated with plaster.
